Recently, in my English class, we were discussing the true meaning of a hero. Together, we came up with a flow chart using all the adjectives we want our hero to be described with as a class. Some said that their heroes were big, muscly, strong, egomaniacs, wore capes and were always confident. Who are they kidding?
My definition didn't match some unrealistic cartoon. My heroes, they're..different. They are brave, they always care for the ones they love (and vice versa), and most importantly, they're human. They know they are and aren't afraid to recognize their mistakes. They are strong because the ones who love them depend on their love. They aren't afraid to risk their life for people that are worth the fight. Heroes aren't some glorified figure in a cartoon, they're every day people, the one in a millions.
Learning about every day life and coming to love the fact we're all human.

Best Friends and Love
When you get to a point in a friendship*, the two are going to be tested time and time again to see the strength of their friendship. A lot of times, how you deal with these tests determines how your friendship either progresses or regresses. Some can find a love for each other within this..
What kind of love?
Friend, close to family, significant other? There are a lot of versions of love.
I agree with my friend on the point of when you label two people as in a relationship, their friendship can be compromised in the process, so the two must be willing to take risks in order to find a romantic kind of love or another form of such love.
Can it be possible for best friends to ever be something more?
No matter how hard you try, if your friendship's healthy, the romantic feelings for each other will arise. Does one ever truly fall in love with a friend whom they've held near and dear? Or does their friendship fall apart with the test of love? If so, are you happy? Some believe that you can and other see the differ. I think that friends that fall in love are true because if the two are truly best friends, they know a lot about each other and don't have any secrets between each other. Having no secrets helps in love..
Is there such thing as becoming too familiar with a person...? This can also ruin a friendship or relationship.
*I'm talking about the friendship between a guy and a girl in particular, however it could be same sex

Family
I have a question for every one. Where do you draw the line of tolerance for family? Something simple like too many chores, something unreasonable like fighting every single day, or something so complex like abuse? If you experience a combination of all three, what do you do?
A lot of people have decided to confront their problems, which is a great thing in my personal thoughts. The vast majority of people just run away from family problems. What becomes of those people? I know my father has become a failure in his life because of the neglect from his family. My grandmother is a female Hades because of her mother. Funny thing is, they're the members of my family I enjoy the least.
Family is the basic unit of society. If so many are failing to be families because of divorce, death or intrapersonal problems, what the fuck do we call society nowadays?
Which brings up another problem..
The importance of family, why is it different to every one? What if they weren't taught to be hateful towards people, yet they are? What if they have feasible reasons for viewing their family like the scum of the earth?
Good questions..
Thanks for listening <3
